Yes and when the receivers eyes get wide you’re supposed to turn around… what you’re not supposed to do is run into them

again, for the 6th time, if the WR causes the collision by slowing down, the collision is not the fault of the defender!
holy shite your'e fricking stupid

I’m surprised the Longhorn fans didn’t throw their dildos on the field

The WR is slowing down to play the ball. The DB is beat in coverage and is not playing the ball. Therefor it’s a PI.
I don’t think you ever played or pay attention when you watch, because most 10 year olds know this. It’s why DB coaches teach to tackle a WR when you’re beat like this because a 15 yard penalty is better than a 40 yard gain.

once again, you post a video showing legit pass interference
and you think that proves your point here
you're a pathological liar!

This is what happened with the Missouri/A&M PI, which was the right no-call IMO.
Dunno what's so hard to understand about that.

Because rule 1 is the defender must play the ball…. Jfc you gotta be drunk

ZERO of the plays in that video are anywhere close to the call we are talking about with the Texas WR and UGA DB
For the...7th time?...you're a pathological liar
you're showing videos that show defensive pass interference
they aren't anywhere close to the topic at hand

I don’t believe that for a second. The more I watch it, the more I think DPI was the right call. The defender initiated contact then moves the receiver aside and interrupts his ability to turn back to run his route.
It might be ticky-tack, but they made contact and the receivers path to run his route was impeded. I’ve seen worse called and more egregious not called.
Your bias is showing; the receiver never had his head turned to the ball. That play was all Texas' DB making his uncontested play on the INT.
Texas fans may be villified for the stoppage in play (eventually getting to the review) but all fans of modern football should take notice when officiating gets in the way of a decisive play. It wouldn't have made a difference in the outcome of this game, but we are usually told to "shut up and take it" with zero accountability from officials. It could be your team affected down the line.

The UGA player DID NOT MAKE CONTACT
the Texas player did, BY SLOWING DOWN

You said the defender doesn’t have to make a play/ play the ball. Rule 1 is you have to play the ball.
You can’t just run into a receiver who is playing the ball because you got beat and aren’t playing it. That’s pass interference and is called every time.

Yes the UGA defender did make contact.
Second, the Texas WR is playing the ball… if the UGA defender was playing the ball he would not have ran into him.

Frustrating we have to go back to your original reply to track the right discussion but you're right. Nothing to do with the call we're talking about and that certainly wasn't OPI.

Just waiting for the hillbilly fans of Tennessee to chime in.

Which is why QB’s love throwing these balls. It’s either completed or odds are it’s a PI.

it's you who never played
