$1.19 for gas. Know this, we weren't particularly happy about it. It was about 30 cents cheaper in 1979. In 78 there was a fuel "shortage" (cough), and you purchased gas according to the last number on your license plate. Mon,Wed,Fri you bought gas if the last number was even and so on.
