5 or 6 is an exaggeration, but Narduzzi is one. I am just not sold on Kirby as a top flight DC, especially not one deserving of the $1.5 mill+ it would take to get him. That is really what is behind it. I feel like if Kirby is our top target, we aren't setting our sights high enough.

Come on man. Kirby literally brings the whole package as a DC at Georgia. Experience, scheme fit, recruiting, everything. We would be nuts not to go after him

I agree, but at that price? When there are guys like Pendergast running around out there to be had for 500k or more less? The only thing Kirby for sure brings over him is the recruiting connections in South GA...and we've already got Bobo, who is a better recruiter.

The being better than Bobo thing is debatable but even without it, why not? We'd have both of the premier recruiters and even better we'd be taking away one of Bama's best. Instead of us competing with Smart he'd be with us IN ADDITION to a decent recruiting staff.
We aren't just adding a great recruiter we are taking away one from our competition that not only works against us for recruits but is in our conference.

I'm tired of UGA being cheap, and Kirby is connected all over the state, not just in South GA
