JFF might go wild in this one.
We have got to correct the D.
This game is pivotal for both clubs to finish strong.

Amazing to think that if these guys half-arse it (which they are fully capable of) like they did against OM for most of the game, this club could wind up 7-6. That would be a bitter pill.

No doubt. We gotta have this one from an Aggie perspective. Win this one, I think we go beat Mizzou. Lose this one, and we could very well finish up 0-2, IMO. HUGE game, no matter what the standings say.

I'm less worried about him performing well, than him feeling like he HAS to score every possession. Too many times this year, he's forced throws that aren't there because he knows punting is practically as good as giving the other team 6 the way we're playing this year.
Subpar LSU defense or not, y'all are still more than good enough to force him into a mistake or two, and that could be ballgame if A&M doesn't fix OUR defense.

We could be as good as 10-3 or as bad as 7-6, that's a pretty gigantic difference. lets wait till this season's over before we start with this stuff and regardless he's got another year to get better. I have faith in him.

In my opinion, it's a combination of everyone not being on the same page, a lack of complete discipline, and a lack of leadership from players.
Everyone blames coaches first. OK. Miles should take some of the blame but mainly because he seems to be too much of a player's coach.
Look at some of our best players/leaders of the past few years. Jefferson, Mathieu, and Hill. All got in trouble off of the field when they are supposed to be setting the example in the locker room. I would imagine the players who work their asses off and do the right things weren't thrilled with the numerous chances they received. Fans want it both ways. They bitch when the team is undisciplined but bitch at Miles for punishing those better players too harshly. IMO Miles had a chance with Hill to set a new tone and punish him more severely than he did.
To summarize, Miles needs to keep his personality but increase his discipline a bit. The players need to step up and take control of the lockerroom and hold each other accountable no matter who fricks up. Need leaders. The coaches need to work as a unit and locate that hunger and passion from 2011

I'm realy looking forward to seeing what attitude the guys have to finish the year. I hope it's pissed and mean.

My post from the middle of the first page...
Roughly what you are saying I believe. I wish I was a fly on the wall in the coaches meetings.

I think so to and I think it goes back to JJ, Tyran, some other things. Wins kept the lid on it...but something is amiss. The toughest part of the HC job isn't X's and O's, nor recruiting. It's the keeping everyone on the same page part. Les has his work cut out. I'm hoping he steps up and handles it (and to be blunt, he needs to look in the mirror first).

Whether it truly means much or not, the fans need to do the same thing. They need to show the players that they still have our full support and we haven't given up either. Fan support can really change the course of a game positively and negatively as we've seen many times in Tiger Stadium.

It means the world, IMO. As many times as I've seen the 12th Man goad some truly shitty Aggie teams to overachieve, y'all have a ridiculous homefield advantage and the talent to back it up. I expect Death Valley to be rockin'. Only pissed I can't make the trip.

Frikkin CBS 2:30 game though. I hate that.

Death Valley is still special but unfortunately the regularity of the 230pm games and increase in spoiled fans have hurt it a bit. Night games really make a big difference with our crowds. Next time A&M comes to DV and it's at night, that will be the one to attend.

Hey, I hear ya. We Ags were livid our game last year got the 11AM slot, of all things

Seems like the only night games we have anymore are for shitty teams like UTEP.
Nighttime big games anywhere are the best atmoshperes, but at DV and Kyle they are a whole 'nother thing.
Hopefully the Thanksgiving games in the future will be evening affairs.

Have they ironed it out yet? I was hoping for Thanksgiving Friday permanently myself. Are they going to rotate Thursday, Friday and Saturday...or do you know?
