Learned something new today...damn, did not know those satellite schools had more than most of the SEC schools.
From Wikipedia,
The University of Texas System includes 13 higher educational institutions throughout the state including eight universities and five independent health institutions. The UT System is headquartered in Downtown Austin, and has a total enrollment of nearly 240,000 students (largest university system in Texas) and employs 21,000 faculty and more than 83,000 health care professionals, researchers and support staff. The UT System's endowment is the largest of any public university system in the United States. As of 2018, Reuters ranks the UT System among the top 10 most innovative academic institutions in the world.
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center ( MD Anderson Cancer Center) is the largest cancer center in the U.S. and one of the original three comprehensive cancer centers in the country. It is both a degree-granting academic institution and a cancer treatment and research center located at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. It is affiliated with The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. According to Newsweek, MD Anderson Cancer Center is considered the best hospital in the world for oncology and related cancer treatment.
MD Anderson employs over 22,000 people, each of them better than the next. I sincerely hope you and yours never have to go there.

UT Austin has about 40,000 undergraduate students. Unlike Aggie, the number of undergrads has stayed in that range for a long time. Admissions standards are not the same across the UT System or between Aggie and UT Austin. UT Austin is the flagship university in Texas, of course, and is the most selective. Not that there’s anything wrong with the other schools in Texas. ??

Only 40K? Too bad, so sad. Tech will be bigger soon. And A&M is pumping out 1.5 as many graduates a year. Left behind … soon to be an also ran

Our student ticket sales are almost as big as their entire undergraduate enrollment.

Yea - not so much. As public institutions this is well documented. First, degrees awarded are within 1100 (16,321 vs 15,250). Second, Tech has 8k less undergrads enrolled than UT Austin.
2021 Texas Public Higher Education Almanac
Third, watering down faculty ratios, lowering spending per student, etc to pump numbers is not the goal of a flagship school and why some people throw around the term "diploma mill" these days for what A&M is doing.
Objectively, one school has lower tuition and fees, higher scoring enrollees, $18k more spent per FTSE, and a substantially better student-faculty ratio. The other has 15k more undergrads... with 1k more graduates due to much lower graduation rates. Choose your own adventure.

But Tech and A&M can continue to grow and expand. UTA is landlocked in that liberal shithole of a city, surrounded by homeless people and trash. Leaving campus is a dangerous proposition for students.

The NC university system has 244,492 students.
Not that big of a deal. There's quite a few universities in state systems.
Ohio State system has over 526,000 students.
New York has over 600k and Cal State over 500k.
I'm not sure what this topic is, I guess someone not understanding university systems.

Your public stupidity and obvious ignorance about the UT system noted. Dumbass.
