Should be another big year. The OOC schedule this year should be a lot of fun.

I hope Kenny is right, but I think we'll miss Beal. Also, it is gel not jell. Stupid ESPN.

Beal will be missed but we should be OK. It'll be interesting to see who will step into the role of attacking the rim.

Hopefully we'll have this answered early on. Additionally, I prefer that to be a team philosophy. Get in the paint, score, or draw contact. Outside shooting is never guaranteed, but good things happen when you attack the basket consistently.

It's hard for me to pay attention to basketball in September though. For the second time in the last four years.

*The loss of Walker should help Florida more than anything else really. The entire team should be thrilled he's gone.

*Boynton is good. Who else is stepping up to help in the backcourt?

*Is Young ever going to get aggressive enough to reach his potential?

As for the rest of the SEC:

UT...have they ever made it past the sweet 16? Have they ever even been to the sweet 16? Enough said.

Arkansas...at one time, UK had a love/hate relationship with you. It was fun, but it's been a long time. Would love to have you back though.

Mizzou...thinks they will compete with UK in the SEC. Will get violated worse than they did by Kansas.

Alabama...middle of the road...just...like...every...single...year.

Vandy...Stallings makes me laugh.

Miss St...I'll miss Stansbury's eye liner.

LSU...don't really know...but I always like playing them for some reason.

Everybody else...worthless.

As far as a tough team, Tennessee returns just about everyone from last year, and they were coming on really strong there at the end. They’re going to be really hard to beat.

Nah, we'll be improved and compete for the SEC title.

I'm actually excited about them as well. That OOC is fun, but will be hard as hell.

Walker was clutch more often than not. His dribbling into traffic will not be missed though.

We signed four guards so we should be fine in the back court. Braxton should get some minutes at the point as will Scott Wilbekin and KB.

You should have an Elite Eight caliber team this season.

As always I'm interested in seeing how Cal adjusts to the makeup of our squad. We'll have more beef in the post but will likely miss that veteran leadership that a guy like Darius Miller provides (even with Hood and Wiltjer still on the roster). I figure we have Sweet 16 or Elite Eight potential given on how it pans out.

The toughest guy to guard, off the top of my head, is probably B.J. Young at Arkansas.

2014 is the year for florida. casey hill and chris walker coming in. both are probably 1 and done's but it will be scary. theyve been playing together for years. both top 25 prospects in the nation.
