Texas has 71 national championships. 4 of them are rowing. 17 are swimming or diving. Take those away and they STILL have more championships than most anyone else.
Of course if we were doing football titles the way most SEC schools claim…. You could add 11 more titles for football

This reminds me of Okie Lite, they claim 57 national titles, and 34 of them were in wrasslin', and like 12 in golf. The vast majority of them were prior to 1970.
