I'm convinced that Bama fans on other message boards google "auburn" every morning when they wake up (and periodically through the day) and wade through the new stuff... it gets posted on bama boards, then evenually ends up here...

Actually, no, in this case I was reading the AJC article about the upcoming series between the Braves and the Nationals, and a link below that story took me to this one, which seemed interesting. I had no idea the stooge running Auburn was going to be on the list...but once I saw it, I sure knew that I could rustle your shorts with it.
Several years ago I worked with a Canadian lady. One day she said, "You Americans just think of Canada as the 51st state", to which I replied, "In order to think of Canada as the 51st state, that would mean that we actually think of Canada. And we never think of Canada." Canadians as a group collectively have one of the worst cases of small penis syndrome...but Auburn fans are doing their best to compete. Be thankful that we at least think of you when we want a good laugh.

Without more information, I don't know about Gogue, but none of these guys are "insanely overpaid." If you are at the top of your game, and are competing with the best academic and business minds for scarce administrative posts like these, why is it sane to pay a football coach $3 million annually but "insane" to pay a major college president $700,000 plus?
