Yeah - let's make everyone play 1/2 speed.

Full speed does not mean that you were supposed to intentionally injure another player by stomping on them

Yall are so fricking crazy. A kickoff return is 1000% more dangerous than someone getting stepped on (and this is just one of the many things that are more dangers than a foot)

Hate to say this is part of the game

Also have to say the only fan are who doesn't seem scared to play us now is Alabama so

Kickoff returns are not more dangerous than having a 300 pound person jump on A players exposed abdomen using their cleats

I'm not sure where LSU fans were for those plays. I hope they were not defending illegal and unsportsmanlike play.

No fan should ever condone play which intentionally attempts to injure another. We should all condemn such behavior

getting stepped on during a KO return is way worse. Bert says slow the game down...way down...with donut breaks between plays

You know the answer to that. And I will take it a step further. Had LSU Kicked our arse how they normally do, you wouldn't see near the outrage we have seen.

I'm not sure that really matters. Who cares if LSU fans are upset or not. This is a matter of integrity and protecting the health and well-being of the players and of the game itself.

We must not have rogue playersintentionally attempting to injure others out there. Period

Let's pump the breaks for a bit and let the SEC deal with it. I can deal with whatever they conclude.

In my opinion it's a matter of hypocrisy.

There is nothing wrong with cleats. It's when a rogue player uses his cleats to hurt another. That's exactly what happened on Saturday.

Eric LeGrand from Rutgers would disagree

So he jumped, and the guy rolls exactly where he's set to land and now he's a piece of shite for not risking landing on an arm / rolling an ankle?

If the tides were tuned your reply would be STTDB..

Over the last 100 years more football players have died of a cute abdominal injuries and they have of acute CNS or head trauma

But really you're throwing a red herring out there. If another player intentionally kicks or steps on an opponents head he likewise should be suspended. And if he has a history of committing such acts he should be prohibited from playing again.

The videos are very clear. He deliberatelyly watched where he was going. He was not running towards the play. He continued long after the play was over. And then once he jumped needlessly in the air in both situations he looked down, aimed his foot, and put the force of his weight into thatfoot that was coming down on the opposing player. Especially in the first video it is disturbing that he watches his foot land on the opposing player and then does not turn back to the notice or check on the health of the player that he just mashed. That right there, By itself, is enough to show that the act was intentional. But there is far more evidence than that. Add to that the fact that he has been previously suspended for doing this. And was known to do this during high school. The case is very strong against him.
