Again this is not a matter of scoreboard. Mississippi State looks to be the team to beat in the SEC. And they had a very impressive win over LSU. But we should not ignore the fact that one of Mississippi State players should not be allowed to participate in an SEC game again. It is for the safety of other players that heshould not step on the field again.

We would not be seeing all this righteous indignation had the stomper been in LSU gear.

No I am not. I have posted on other forums in regards to LSU behavior. Auburn behavior. Florida behavior. I remember when Tyson Jackson of Ellish you did tomahawk chops slapping other players in the head. I remember when Chaz Ramsey from Auburn tried to injure other players withchop blocks.

But this case is different because the potential for irreversible injury or death is there and this player has shown a habit for intentionally trying to injure others.

I formally wrote down my thoughts on this which more or less, in shorthand, are found in this thread. And then I mailed that letter to the SEC office. I hope that they will take it to heart and respond accordingly.

He has a point, Day hit him dead center and has a history. Should he be suspended no but, should they keep an eye on him obviously.

This shite will sort itself out on the field. Opposing teams will see him on tape and let their players know to take his arse out if they get the chance. He will probably find himself injured before the end of the season. There have been MUCH worse incidents on the field in the SEC over the years.

I'm with you runningtiger, kid should be arrested and charged with attempted murder.

But I suppose the entire team could be charged with that after last Saturday.

Knees can be taken out at will; once that starts, there's no stopping.

Yall are so fricking crazy. A kickoff return is 1000% more dangerous than someone getting stepped on (and this is just one of the many things that are more dangers than a foot)

If it looks like dawgshit and smells like dawgshit it probably is dawgshit. I went to the game with several MSU alums and had a good time despite the outcome so don't give and that butthurt bull shite. I finally got to look at the videos this afternoon on something other than a cell phone and when you play it back a few times there was plenty of room to avoid the prone players on the ground. The first one he jumped on with both feet in the groin despite there being green grass between Godchaux and Prescott. The second one he had to veer right to jump on Rashard Robinson and he landed on his inside thigh (location of major artery and vein).

The dawgshit comes from the fact that probably no other player on either squad stepped significantly on anybody else the whole game. Also he never managed to jump on any Dawgs that were rolling around. Lastly he has been cited for it before and probably nobody else in the SEC has stomping complaints accused against them.

Therefore one can conclude that Dillon Day looks like Dawgshit, Smells like Dawgshit, and must be Dawgshit.

This will be the bellweather standard for Dan Mullins on his coaching principles.

Other than that, congrats on a good game and good luck the rest of the season. Have a nice Day!

There have also been worse incidents on the field in the NFL before current events I've been taking place. But we live in another age. Cameras enable us to see almost everything. And is a very litigous society. Such behavior will not be tolerated and one day and incident or a series of incidents like these will cost the SEC millions.
