The SEC reminds me of the last days of the SWC

One of the things that lead to the demise of the old SWC was its member institutions turning on one another. And it appears that’s what’s happening in the SEC today. A line has been crossed by both sides and I fear it can’t be undone.
And don’t take this as me siding with LSU over the SEC or siding with the SEC over LSU. There’s guilt on both ends and both sides are driving the conference toward the abyss. Both sides are blind to everything other than their side “winning” this debate. But neither side has stopped go think about what winning will actually look like. None of this is good for LSU, the SEC, or college football as a whole.
I hope all this is worth it to them.

Level heads could still prevail here quickly, but the SEC filing federal suit against LSU personnel was definitely an escalation and shot across the bow.
Then there’s the matter of the SEC rules causing LSU to violate a court order.
