Damn i wanted to thrash you for saying Auburn goes from this year to drop 5 next year but with who we lose and our schedule that might be good expectations.

Best defensive lineman, linebacker, and corner all gone from a team that's relied on its defense for the past two seasons.

You do realize that LSU had to replace 7 starters from last season's team and the defense has only been better this season. Now, losing Nevis, Sheppard, and Peterson will sting some, but the secondary is about 3 deep with high school All-Americans and the DL has plenty of depth as well.

Good point. Now tell him about all the OL and skill players we got that will be fighting for PT next year.

God, the practices are going to be brutal before the season starts.

QB will be the key as to how far LSU will go. I'm thinking having two SR QB's realizing that they are now "playing for the paycheck" IE NFL draft status will light a fire under both. Plus, we are eagerly anticipating Mettenberger's signing.

LSU's defense will be better as a whole next year. Montgomery comes back and we have some serious secondary talent. LBs I am not totally sure about. I'll be honest I cannot recall who we have there.

The offense will still be loaded and our Line will get better with experience. QB play could still haunt us if we do not get something done there. As good if not better in 2011.

Mallett leaving is a loss, but I think Wilson proved he is SEC caliber already. I want to see what Brandon Mitchell can do as a dual threat as well.

Our entire running game is coming back, and Knile Davis is just getting started. He just turned 19.

Dennis Johnson will be back after being injured since game 2 this year.

Childs and Adams should both be back.

What I am most optimistic about is our lines should be improved next season giving whoever is back there even more time to throw.

I don't expect us to drop off any. We might be better.

This, We get rid of the walking first start Ray Dominguez, and Brey Cook will most likely come in and take that spot right away.

All true, but we already have PP7's replacement in Tyrann Mathieu,

not quite, his size will hurt some. I really like him in the role he is in now. I think Simon will turn a few heads and is 6'4 . You can't find many Athletes that tall with hips like his.

we get Big Sam back next year

Sparingly , his knee looked like spaghetti and will need plenty of time to rehab . Idk if we will see the same burst from him or not. I sure hope so. He was having an all SEC Season as a RS Freshman pre injury.

As usual LB is gonna be the weak link. Losing Kelvin will hurt. Minter is ready though.

Kicker is what i am wondering about next year. Mostly Place Kicker.

If you have Malzahn next year you'll be at the top? Fat chance. Do you realize that you're losing virtually your entire offensive line and almost certainly the best player in your school's history? I don't care if Albus Dumbledore is your OC, you aren't gonna be "at the top" with that kind of attrition.

Ole miss got a good one in Mackey. He may be small but he throws a hell of a deep ball. He is pretty accurate 25+ yards down the field. He also is a pretty good runner and flashes good moves. He could be special for ole miss. Lets just hope he doesn't come back to bite LSU.

LSU should benefit from some cohesiveness on offense. We return both QBs, our starting RB, and 4 of 5 linemen. Also return RR and Shep.

On D, we'll be more experienced overall, but we'll have to find some players to step up and fill the leadership roles vacated by PP, Shep, and Nevis.

I think you're putting a little too much stock in how the kids did in high school. Kirkpatrick and Milliner were both 5-star recruits in high school, and they've been mediocre at best this year.

Not saying they can't be great in the future, but you're being ridiculous if you don't acknowledge the obvious learning curve.

Arkansas fans are completely delusional. You don't lose Mallett and get better. Plus their run game stinks. LSU and Bama both return more than Arky. Plus they have recruited tons better players filling in for those leaving.

I think florida will be improved next season and should win the east. They lost 9 players to the nfl draft this past season so i expected a 3 loss year, but def didnt expect brantley to underachieve as much as he has. I predict a 10-2 record for next season
