You should note the "Tulane" part of his name.

Our defense will be nasty. DBs SHOULD be A LOT BETTER. Could be best group in the SEC. Hightower should be back. Dareus could be gone. Barron could be gone.

Offense could be more of a passing threat. But about the same.
We have Richardson returning. Ingram could be gone. Julio could be gone. Bye McElroy.

The defense will be better while the offense will likely take a step back, but the schedule is 10 times better. 7 home games and only 4 true road games, and we avoid Bama, LSU, and Arkansas from the west. Arky rotates off while Ole Miss rotates on. We get SC, Auburn, and MSU at home. We have 2 cupcakes to go along with the opener at home against Louisville (should win), and have the bye before Florida. Can't ask for much better than that.

Is his stock really that high?

He has done absolutely nothing this year.

Best defensive lineman, linebacker, and corner all gone from a team that's relied on its defense for the past two seasons. Losing Nevis, Sheppard, and Peterson is going to be pretty big, especially in that first game against Oregon. LSU could make some noise if Crowton is replaced and one of the QBs makes a jump, but I'm not going to expect that.

Going to be tough to replace DJ Williams. I always had him one notch below Hernandez as SEC TEs go, although I don't know if Williams will do as well in the NFL as he is.

Noticed DJ hasn't scored a TD all year though. Getting solid yardage, no scores. That's a little odd...

LSU will be looking down at everyone as far as talent in the secondary next year. I dunno after that.

You see Lee looking better than Mett in the spring?

-Our secondary is still sick. If anyone can fill PP's shoes, it is Tyrann. SM, Keke, Brockers will make for LSU's most athletic line in a long time; I see special teams possibly being a nightmare, but they are always consistent.

I think the schedule is much mroe difficult. I am not sure if we'll surpass this season's win total, but it is highly likely next year's LSU team will still be better regardless

Gragg has a few TDs this year. DJ does have a score

He averages 37 yds per catch right now.

Not many people know much about him because he was out all of last year with a knee injury. He is much bigger, around 6'5" or 6'6"

If Auburn looses cam, it all depends on who we bring in. If we keep Cam we could be up at the top again next year.

They are, but 2006 gave that trend the middle finger. We are very young this year. If we ditch Crowton, we can beat Oregon. I think UO might run us out of teh building if we do not. they'll get their points.

I think LSU will be worse, and opening up the season playing Oregon is going to be extremely difficult

1. The only LSU weakness is dependable high quality QB play.
They are NOT going to be worse. Both players will improve.

2. I think LSU right now, can beat Oregon, right now.
I watch them every year, both teams. I live on the west coast, and get the Ducks on TV every weekend.

They have no defense. Ducks have no D.
Their run game is one guy. Pretty good.
The Duck passing game and WR is premier.
They count on being able to outscore everyone.
I think LSU can shut them down, like they did to Bama.
Cam Newton is a special case. He got a lot of time passing because they didnt figure out what do to about his running.
LSU got out schemed, bad. Those handoffs to the RBs were potent. Who has the ball? Where is the ball?
He who wonders where the ball is is being scored on.

All true, but we already have PP7's replacement in Tyrann Mathieu, DL is the deepest area of the team, and John Chavis is coaching the LB's. I truly expect the defense to be as good in the secondary, improved along the line...we get Big Sam back next year...and I'm hoping Baker can step up his game to give the other LB's time to mature.

Dunno about Crowton leaving, but both JJ & JL are back for their senior years and playing for the paycheck, plus we have Mettenberger possibly coming in, along with Rivers.

It's going to be a special team, no doubt.

the exact same with us. Our schedule is manageable, but its not likely we win more than 7 even though we will be considerably better.

We start off the season with Boise. Yeah they should lose a lot, but they're so damn good the first game of the year and we are so damn bad for the first half of the season each year.

We get UGA at home. Once again, win able, but we just suck so bad in the first few games.

We travel all the way to Fresno. We should win, but this is a classic Nutt frick up

We never beat Bama and we will not beat Auburn on the road.

Which leaves our season changers: LSU at home and MSU away. We could win both, but lose both easily since we're awful in Starkville.

Definite losses: Boise, Auburn, & Bama
Toss ups: LSU, State, UGA, Arky
Trap games: Fresno, Kentucky, & Vandy

Mighty tough to get to 8 regular season wins. If we win all the games we should and half the toss ups we got it, but predicting what Nutt will do is a waste of time.

I live on the west coast and see a lot of Oregon as well, and I think you're insane. Oregon's offense would do the same thing to LSU that Auburn's did

Yeah. As good as we are going to be, I am nervous we play UO and at State so early in the season. It just screams disaster.
