I don’t like watching online if I can help it. Feed is always delayed or buffering. For those of us that get cable in our lease, Watch ESPN is useless anyway.

This. Feed is almost always 2 minutes behind and freezes and lags...

It still fills the pockets for every school and dwarfs what other conferences get. And doesn’t have carriage problems like Pac 12 Network. I won’t knock it.

Must be y’all a stream. Mine may be 20 sec behind and never freezes. It rarely ever even gets choppy.

Yeah, if you want to watch while listening to your hometown announcers on radio it can be tough. The feed is rarely synced.

The radio is even ahead cable unless you stream it.

What streaming device do you use? Is one phone/TV better than another?

That is true. It’s 5-6 seconds difference when I was watching game on mute while listening on radio. At least there’s no buffering or low resolution though.

I either stream it on the watchESPN app on my Roku to my tv, may laptop on chrome (no app, just website), or my phone on the ESPN app. No issues on either, but I have pretty damn good internet too.

I have heard good things about Roku. I will someday get one or Fire TV/Apple TV. They all seem so similar I wouldn’t decide which one is better. I visit the Tech Board sometimes, but none stands out above the rest.

I have the roku ultra. Bought it because it has a beeper on it to where you can fine the remote if it gets lost.

I bought a Roku TV for my guest room a few months ago. Tested it out and decided to get a Roku stick ($50) for my living room.

Just the WatchESPN app alone makes it worth it. I’ve watched more college baseball this year than I did all of last year.

I've watched all 9 A&M baseball games on WatchESPN via FireTVStick. No problems. It has definitely improved over a few years ago, when dropped signals were common. A few games are handled by 12thman as opposed to SECN, and there are noticeably fewer camera angles for those. But it is still very good. The lag doesn't bother me except for a classmate listening on the radio who lives in the future. If it wasn't for him chiming in with text messages I'd never know the difference (and be happier for it).

You little gimps don't remember the days of Jefferson-Pilot Sports.

Quit your fricking bitching, and get the frick off my lawn.

Next time I catch you on my lawn, I'm gonna get you. I'm gonna get you real good.

Shot with potato cameras and the mics were made out of tin cans and pieces of string. Didn't improve when it became Lincoln Financial either.

I still think they should have gone with this programming

Although the 2:30-3:00 time slot should be, "Nick Saban Munching on some Little Debbie's", not, "Nick Saban Having Some Strawberry Yogurt and a Few Almonds".

Didn’t you used to have something other than Roku? Do you use the earbuds for it? I heard one of the apps on the buttons were discontinued. Did you get a bracket to attach it to your TV?

I thought about getting one of the streaming sticks, but reviews I read said they get hot. And don’t have as good of a processor.

I do remember the days of Jefferson Pilot. We got a lot of Tom Hammond, Bob Kesling, and Larry Conley on a lot of Kentucky, Arkansas, and Tennessee games. They usually carried a Saturday afternoon doubleheader and a Wednesday night game.

I'm not selling anything, but I've never noticed the fireTVstick getting hot. "as good of a processor" as what? In my experience if you have a good (which is to say, fast) internet connection then it works fine. I watch it almost exclusively now - Amazon Prime, Netflix, STARZ, all the HBO channels that I'm already paying for, and of course WatchESPN (also bundled with my cable).

The FireTV box has a better processor than the FireTV stick is what some reviews have stated. Same with Roku.
