not really if ohio state can still be in these high profile games and play for a title every now and then i don't really care what michigan or wisconsin does

The Big Ten was weak this year.

Wisconsin - was always overrated - beat tOSU on a wave of emotion - needed luck to get by Arizona State - put up huge points against BAD defenses - ran into a GOOD defense in TCU and didn't do shite

tOSU - Basically had a one game season and lost that game, so frick em

Michigan State - biggest frauds I had ever seen - glad they didn't make a BCS game - got absolutely dismantled at Iowa, a team that isn't very good

And these are the best three teams in the league?

I suppose that might be better than OU, Nebraska, and Okie State/Texas A&M.....or maybe even Oregon/Stanford/USC.

You just started a thread about the big 10 and their unfortunate draw.

good points but thats if you're only choosing to judge a conf at the top.

is that the fairest way? if so then only one of those sec big ten games meant anything saturday

correct it's all about the national perception which i feel could hurt the big ten.

in 06 i laughed when michigan got stomped by usc.

now when big ten teams lose, ohio state gets called out before they even play their game

I think the Big Ten is better than the Big 12 this year. At least, they beat the Big 12 in most of their matchups. Northwestern lost, but nobody expected them to win that game- and they almost did anyway.

OSU wouldn't be in a high profile game if playing in the SEC...not every year anyway.

i think the best advantage the sec has over the big ten right now isn't speed it's coaching.

dantonio looked like a pussy all day sat with little screens and gimmick plays.

bulimea has a 300 pound rb and calls a 4 wide set on a 2 point conversion.

joe pa doesn't even coach but they call a play action bomb with the worst qb in the nation on third and the size of mallets dick (half an inch). let alone why the kid was playing in the first place

rich rod is rich rod

Because the Big 10's poor performances vs. other conferences during bowl season weakens the national perception of your record. Legitimate criticism imo

Lies! Greg McElroy is the worst QB in college football. Bench McElroy will stand beside me on this one.

nah the speeds a myth. penn states white boy was toasting florida dbs.

one time he got behind 2 florida dbs and mcccejlory underthrew him and it got tipped and all tirico said was "look at the speed of the florida defense"

so frustrating to hear stuff like that

nope. we were too slow to beat oregon or miami but then we won so we finally became fast.

speed is the only thing people talk about in football. if speed mattered that much trindon holliday woulda won 3 heismans
