From 1619-1776 slavery was sanctioned by the British. There was no USA or CSA.
From 1776-1861 slavery was allowed by the USA. The CSA lasted only four years.
Seems like your issues should be with the British, old chap.
As to Big10 country, George Rogers Clark and the Kentucky County Virginia militia are the only reason it isn’t part of Canada. And in 1813 the Kentucky militia whipped the socks off of the British and General Proctor saving the Big 10 states of Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana.

99% of Confederate soldiers didn’t own slaves, nor fought so a small minority of rich people could keep some.
