I know what you're saying, but everything you have stated so far has been opinion based.

I am laughing my arse off about a supposed OM fan pimping LSU

Not a single OM fan I know IRL would be caught dead doing that

Not to pile on, but no1 likes your new mascot either. Haven't heard one commentator or writer use it.

I know. It sounds like he's still chapped about last night, so he's trying to piss Bama fans off by saying LSU has the better fanbase.

How often do writers talk about Big Al or Mike the Tiger? They don't because it is a mascot. Just like Bama is the Crimson Tide and not the Elephants, we are the Rebels that happen to have a Black Bear as a marketing tool and child's play thing.

I was embarrassed for the OM fans when the Bama sections were doing the ALA...BAMA cheer.

My dad went to Bama and I grew up going to T town for games and after TR made us look like a middle school team I was ready to go but my buddy said, let's see what we do when we get the ball back. I think we fumble and round 2 of the Ala...Bama cheer started up and I couldn't handle it anymore. I had to leave.

Can't speak for Bama, but commentators do talk about our mascot (positively) from time to time.

1 LSU
2 ALABAMA
3 ARKANSAS
4 GEORGIA
5 USCe
6 AUBURN
7 FLORIDA
8 MISS ST
9 VAN
10 TENN
11 KEN

My current list of how the teams fare 1-12 in order of relevence and I did take into account lattimore and brantley out to lower both florida and USCe.

I'm pretty sure Alabama nearly had as many fans there as Ole Miss. I guess the rest of the Rebels were in the Grove.

I'm not trying to talk shite either, but fact (opinion) is that Ole Miss has the worst student section in the SEC. Vandy's is better than the Rebels.

Ole Miss' student section is good for one thing. Birthing hips.

Their fans are like Arkansas'. They think their program and school are 100X more relevant than they actually are.

I know right. Neither has even won a conference championship much less a bcs bowl game....yet they consider themselves relevant SEC Contenders year after year.

BTW: Most SEC teams consider themselves relevant contenders. Alabama and LSU don't have a monopoly.

Here is a true story...

So I go down to Biloxi to the Hard Rock to see Darius Rucker in concert.
Anyhow...on the big screen behind him, for one of his songs, local teams in the area are brought up one at a time... each bringing an appropriate crowd response.

Southern Miss got a louded applause than did Ole Piss and Moo St.
The Saints had a pretty loud fan base there.
But to the State of Mississippi's embarrassment, LSU fans rocked that mother fricker!!!

The coast has always been a Southern Miss/LSU fan base area. Is anybody surprised by this?
