Not to pile on, but no1 likes your new mascot either. Haven't heard one commentator or writer use it.

How often do writers talk about Big Al or Mike the Tiger? They don't because it is a mascot. Just like Bama is the Crimson Tide and not the Elephants, we are the Rebels that happen to have a Black Bear as a marketing tool and child's play thing.

Can't speak for Bama, but commentators do talk about our mascot (positively) from time to time.

I'm not trying to talk shite either, but fact (opinion) is that Ole Miss has the worst student section in the SEC. Vandy's is better than the Rebels.
Ole Miss' student section is good for one thing. Birthing hips.

BTW: Most SEC teams consider themselves relevant contenders. Alabama and LSU don't have a monopoly.

The Saints had a pretty loud fan base there.
But to the State of Mississippi's embarrassment, LSU fans rocked that mother fricker!!!
The coast has always been a Southern Miss/LSU fan base area. Is anybody surprised by this?
