I think A&M has much more potential than Ole Miss because of the wealth of the school and its location in fertile recruiting territory. The facilities are there, the administration is committed to a winning program, and the fanbase has always been much more energized than that of Ole Miss, in my opinion. I've never been to Oxford or College Station, so I cannot compare the two campuses or gameday atmospheres.

interesting to see how many fans we have at Oxford, it's the closest SEC school and Oxford is close to the state line. Being an early kickoff I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with a huge contingent when the game starts (and probably when it ends too)

There's no question aTm has more potential. Ole Miss will make some noise every now and then but at the end of the day

The ESPN announcers hit the nail on the head when they said that Ole Miss can not and has not developed a quarterback. They took Jevon Snead from a NFL General Managers office to an insurance office.

While funny it is quite sad.

I really do feel sorry for them. I remember the Ole Miss game coming close to Tennessee as far as mutual fan hate and traditions. Used to be one of my favorite games every year. This year, I just couldn't bring myself to go and dance on the grave of the real ole miss again.

It still boggles my mind that they were ranked #4 in the country at one point in 2009.

I have a good friend who's an Ole Miss fan, and I can't even insult him anymore---it would just be too cruel.

Bama had the whole endzone under the video board full and they had the corner on the opposite end full. I was in the middle of OM section on Bama side of the field. I was embarrassed for the OM fans when the Bama sections were doing the ALA...BAMA cheer. It was louder than any cheer OM did all game.

On the military tribute thing I was stunned because the Colonel's wife and both kids were all wearing Bama gear and had crimson and white shakers. It was hilarious.

To be fair, we didn't have the 3's in on that goal line stand. When they got down to the 2 or whatever it was we brought the 1st team goal line defense out. Still, that was a bit cruel How demoralized can you be? 45-7, we decide that we don't want to give up a touchdown from the 2 and we don't. Brutal.

There were a ton of Alabama fans there but I hardly noticed them until the middle of the 3rd quarter when they started whipping us. Then they got really loud.

When LSU comes to town, their fans will be loud/noticed the whole game.

I noticed all the OM fans telling me when OM scored "Don't worry, it won't last"

Even had one talking about the Hollingsworth game in Jackson.
Sorry your team sucks but don't try and talk shite when at least 1/3 if not 1/2 of your stadium was Bama fans

I'm not trying to talk shite.

Just pointing out facts. I know our team sucks. LSU fans>Bama fans. Fact. I have more respect for them than I do you.

When a 90,000+ stadium makes a lot more noise than a 100,000+ stadium, its a pretty good indicator of how good the fans are.

And I was just stating what I have noticed in many games at VHS

But I'm done with this because it really doesnt matter. Good night
