1 Texan is worth 10 SC men.

because we arent shitting on the state of South Carolina. this isnt an anti-South Carolina rally. its essentially a pep rally for the upcoming game against the University of South Carolina

I'm not gonna lie I would give zero fricks if South Carolina did something similar at the Texas Capitol. I prolly wouldn't even care much if it was the Alamo, which is basically the Capitol as far as symbolism. Maybe I'm just easy going though

are you in fact a native? I guess I just assumed you were caucasian, most of your people have moved far west.

I thought the imaginary slight that scar fans felt about yell practice was ridiculous but....

Okay then but what the hell you think it is going to be perceived as? SCers have been born and raised with issues going at that damned state house. Whether it's the CSA flag over the last few decades or the recent Occupy movements. That state house is where you go to try and make a statement and I promise you a lot of SCers don't like the idea of a bunch of Texans going there a day before a game with them.
Like I said, I know it isn't meant to be disrespectul and most Gamecocks know it too. In fact I seriously doubt there will be any troubles for the Aggies there, but there are some who will find it offensive.
eta: Truth be told I really doubt most of the Gamecock faithful will even know that it is going to take place.

I was born in SC so yes I am a native. Are most of the Aggie alum in SC TX or SC natives?

Then y'all are thin-skinned and probably the reason we lost the war of Northern Aggression.

If it weren't for us having the balls to get out first there wouldn't have been a war. Not to mention all the SCers that had to save your arse against Mexico. If I'm not mistake the SC state flag was the first to fly over the gates of Mexico City. The Palmetto Regiment.. you're welcome.

We didn't ask for no saving. We didn't need no saving.

There is a memorial to the South Carolinians that fought in the Mexican-American War on the state house grounds, you Aggies be sure to stop by and give them a thanks. A kowtow is the preferred means to do this. I'll be there to monitor.

We'll be sure to pay our respects when we visit the state house and stomp on the seal of the state of SC yelling "BEAT THE HELL OUTTA USC!!"

It's a pep rally, and that is how it should be perceived.
No one is trying to burn a building to the ground.
You might even find it entertaining.
Looking forward to a good game.

Cock fans sure are a sensitive bunch if they're getting their panties in a wad over this.
