need to realize the level LSU and Bama are playing at is several levels above not just that of the SEC, but in the country. You can claim the SEC is down, or Auburn, Florida, TN, etc are bad teams. The fact is these two teams are outclassing everybody.

It is almost unfair the two have to meet before the BCSNCG. Whichever team wins NOV 5 is the National Champion.

By the way I am starting to lean towards LSU. I don't know if it's because of the recent thrashing, or the more I think about what I watched Saturday was some of the best, furious, dominating, fast, aggressive football I have seen in a long time.

I will say it is a slight edge because I felt similarly towards Bama when they thrashed Florida. I have Nov 5 cleared for that game. I am stoked to watch it and I am not in like of these two teams, but I respect the hell out of the way they are playing football, impressive indeed.

my one fear is that we beat the living frick out of each other and someone clips the winner just because of injuries

I think you gotta favor Bama's with T-Rich leading the way.

Alabama still has to play Auburn.

LSU still has to play Arkansas.

Auburn always plays 'Bama tough. It's why the Iron Bowl is the rivalry it is.

Arkansas has a good shot, IMO. West Virginia put up something around 530 yards and 460 passing. If Arkansas' OL does well. It could be a tough game for LSU.

while arkansas is a good team unless injuries clip us from this game and we have a hangover we should win.

Its highly likely both of us emerge from this game banged the frick up. The good news for us is wku and ole miss before arky.

I could have said the same thing last year for the Iron Bowl. I used to love watching the Florida/Tennessee matchups during the Spurrier/Fulmer days. Good football is just good football!

True, but unlikely losses. Auburn doesn't have an offense and the defense is still growing.

Arky has a hell of an offense, but their defense will not stop LSU, and LSU D will be in the backfield plenty.

Early game in the season not a good indicator.WV is ranked 21st total Defense Arky 64th big difference. LSU offense was just starting to figure out who they were. They know now.

also we played prevent d vs wvu. we didn't attack we had a nice lead most of the game. Chavis is deathly afraid of the big play. In most years i can agree since our o was so bad that giving up the big play would have been killer but this year the o is just fine.

they aren't putting up huge numbers yardage wise but we are lighting up scoreboards

some of the ESPN crew who have votes said they would put the loser of the Bama-LSU game ahead of Boise on their poll vote.

I agree that Bama and LSU are game in and game out the top two teams in college football. However, there’s still a lot of football to be played and college football doesn't have a best or 5 game series to determine who wins a game.

LSU is damn good but so is Bama and I just don't think LSU will win in Tuscaloosa. Also, I’m not conceding anything to LSU when the Hogs play them at the end of the year. LSU can certainly be beaten and all the Hogs have to do is be the better team that day.
