The real reason aTm doesn't want Texas in the SEC....
Has nothing to do with "wanting their own identity." They had every intention of acting just like UT and bullying the SEC with the power and money they add by bringing in the State of Texas market. If UT joins, they no longer have that power because the SEC doesn't need them anymore.
You overplayed your hand Aggies.

Well the SEC does much like the Aggies or need the Aggies it be a great day when the Aggies are thrown out of the SEC

Since you brought up Texas.
So right now Saban is mad and thus Bama fans mad at A&M bc we beat them and out recruited them.
Now let’s just go with Saban’s and your theory, the only reason this has happened is bc of NIL. And Saban is mad bc he knows his school can not compete with other schools in this area.
Now I’m not saying I agree with any of this but for discussion purposes of this thread, we will go with the above Saban issues.
And you invite Texas to also join the league. And we all know Sankey had to get Bama’s approval to do it. Yes, they have been a train wreck. But they will spend NIL money. And per Saban those will be the schools that dominate going forward.
Now let’s just let that sink in.

Nebraska sunk their own ship by mining to a conference with no natural rivalries and a worse recruiting base from which to choose. The size of the villain determines the size of the hero. Nobody outside Lincoln gives a frick about Nebraska. They rendered themselves irrelevant.
