Name all of the second fiddles in a state that have won big.
Few and far between. A&M has multiple other in state programs to compete with for the back seat as well.
Culture & leadership hold them back as well. 100 years of being the red headed step child is not easy to overcome.
History repeats itself & history has not been kind to the Ags.

Not kidding by the way. He's with some older dudes. Was hoping it'd be some high school sophomore recruits he was taking out and showing the ropes.

I think it'll come back eventually after their feelings aren't as hurt over the whole realignment deal. And, yes, Aggie hubris had a lot to do with putting the kibosh on their westward expansion plans quote:

Personally, I think it is a sad thing when a heated rivalry ends. Both schools need to make this happen.

I dumped my Sumlin pic on the first page, PM got in a zinger (a CEO pic from HS or college) and then I bailed on this thread. Come back several hours later and it is a bareknuckled brawl between two teams that do not even play each other anymore.

That was part of the reason we played Mizzou to end our first couple of seasons in the SEC. We were still willing to keep that last date open if they'd play ball.
Prefer playing LSU in that slot now. If/when we play t.u. regularly again, I hope it only comes back as a season opener (like we used to do w/ LSU) or a midseason tilt a la the Red River Shootout (not likely).

I want the game to be played. It feels wrong that we don't. I'm starting to get used to it, but id prefer to keep it going.
