SEC fans are the worst I can agree to this. Just thank OSU for filling their heads with helium after two national title losses.

I think Boise has a nice little team.
I love watching those late night games at 12:30 when you play UNLV or New Mexico.
And as I recall, your stadium field is blue.
And who will ever forget that stirring victory over Oklahoma last year, or 2008, or 2003 or whenever it was.
CFB needs more schools who aspire towards legitimacy and a real 12 game schedule.
You guys are almost there, just add another seven or so BCS conference games a year.
Best of luck to you in the future.
We are all pulling for you, Scrappy.

The 1920's or 1930's they did.

Incidentally, Boise Community College was founded in 1932. That should put things in perspective for Boise fans.

Speaking of crawfish, the country's oldest crawfish festival is this weekend in Tualatin, Oregon. I went in 2003 and got 3 cold unseasoned crawfish for $1. Dude. Haven't been back since. We do our alumni boil in Tualatin just to show them the right way.
When I went for a visit to check the city out I noticed a place called "Jakes" apparently it is famuos for crawdads. I asked a chef friend of mine that works at Cafe Zues if it were worth it. He is a native northwesterner but lived in Memphis for 5 years. His exact words were " Not to you it won't be." He did tell me Oregon is only behind Louisiana in crawfish farms and producing.

I'll ask my Arky colleague if there's any secret Arky alumni group around here.
That would be awesome. Thanks a lot. If not, I'll be hanging out with yall watching some football most likely. I can't see myself watching Pac 12 football.
I'm a chef btw. I'll be working like a dog for the most part but time off this fall will be watching SEC football. Thanks for the help.

That doesn't count.
shite we went Undefeated in 1907.

That was my whole point. Vandy was kicking arse in football and Boise didn't even have a D1 team for 4 more decades. Despite how badass Boise fans may think they are, every single SEC program has been there and done that.

Boise wasn't even a college.

It was founded in 1932. I just looked it up. This is really going over your head.

Probably because of the crawfish festival in Tualatin. I heard they have 10k people at the festival.

Cool. What restaurant will you be working at?
There's a food good Cajun/Creole themed places (good for Portland, that is). Check out Acadia, Tapalaya and EaT! An Oyster Bar. We have several Popeyes locations and you can find Abita Amber, Turbo Dog and Purple Haze at places like Belmont Station and John's Marketplace.
This is a great town for food and drink but we could use a lot more Southern chefs.

A couple of years back (don't know about now)Boise St had the best 10-year winning percentage in college football. At the same time they had a losing record against BCS conference teams. I think that says all that needs to be said about Boise's scheduling, and their team in general.
