Colorado on neutral territory.

Ummm, it was a Colorado home game and poor Aggie was only allotted 2,000 tickets

It was their mistake to put the other 34,000 seats on stubhub

Yes, that’s why you’re on an SEC forum, a conference you hillbillies don’t even play in, replying time after time after time to posts regarding A&M?! That’s got to be some weird oklahomo logic….

We left you and your shitty conference over a decade ago yet here you are today joining our conference but we are the obsessed ones?! LMFAO!!!!!!!

Oh newbie Aggy. Plenty of hillbillies and newly entered illegals in your state. And you might ease on the homo comments considering the yell boys like to be all “friendly” with each other.

Calm down man..LOL...Nah, OU won it fairly and squarely but I can tell you that Bama team couldn't care less about that game. I think we had two O Line starters and one key DB who sat out the game. Our O was awful and so was the defense. OU had some tiny LB our O Line could not account for. I think his name was Stryker or Striker.

Just to be clear, I should have had a comma after the “F’.” I realized later that it could be misread as FU which was not my intent.

You actually believe that OU was a good team last year? You can’t be serious. You. Lost. To. Kansas. State.

Again you lost to KSU fairly recently.

In addition our two losses were at the beginning of the year when we were breaking in a new QB and were missing our best defensive player and our outstanding 245 lbs RB.

We were not a great team at the beginning of the year but we were a very good team the last half of the season.

I would suggest you re-read the OP.

We didn’t start this thread about OU, moron.

Last coaching regime when every current player on the roster was in middle school? Cool. You're a weird guy. The 2015 A&M team under Kevin Sumlin has nothing to do with OU losing to Kansas State literally less than a year ago. Do you think this is a serious rebuttal to why A&M was better than OU last year? Did you graduate high school?

By Oklahoma's recent history in the playoffs I'd say they will have a very rude awakening when they join the SEC. I've lived in Oklahoma for the last few years and everyone here seems to think they will walk into the SEC as the next Bama on day one. The most small minded fan based I've ever been around.

It is hilarious how they think they are Bama-light. Even in the face of repeated embarrassment they still think it's 1975.

I am not claiming your KSU loss a few years ago says anything about your current team. It was merely to point out your hypocrisy when you insist that a loss to KSU means a team sucks.

And let’s not rewrite history. When Sumlin was your coach you guys were all here trashing the Big 12 and claiming superiority over all Big 12 teams. Even when things went south under Sumlin you were still claiming superiority.

This is a well worn pattern for aggies. Every time you get a new coach you claim dominance then when that doesn’t work out you rewrite history to claim the old guy was bad but the you are a different team now. But we all remember the trash you talked when the old guy was still there and realize it is the same trash you are talking with the new guy.

As for OU vs A&M last year, I don’t have to explain why I think OU was better. I just think they were. Since we didn’t play we will never know.

I do agree that had we played A&M in the first half of the season we would have lost. Had we played them the last half I believe we would have won because we were a very good team on both sides of the ball the second half of the season.

Last year would have been:

Sooners 45 - Aggies 31, in College Station

Isn't your team 95% the same team that just lost to K-State? OWn it. OU is overrated. A&M was a far superior team last year. Why are you so insecure. It's not like this can't change, but as it stands, OU sucks and A&M was undeniably better last season.

Repeat. After. Me.

"A&M was better than OU."

If you don’t believe we were a much better team the second half of the season, look at our margin of victory the second half vs the first. Look at how much better our defense performed the second half.

That team that lost to KSU was not the same team that ended the season.

If you want to argue that OU would have lost several games in the SEC last year in the first half of the season I would be in 100% agreement. Heck, we lost 2 in the Big 12 and almost lost to a mediocre Texas team.

But that team in the second half would have done well. We would not have beaten ‘Bama but I like our chances against everyone else.

OU was better at the end of the season than the beginning but so was A&M. We won our last 7 by double digits all against SEC teams except the Orange Bowl. You talk about how you would have beaten anyone but Bama but that's EXACTLY what A&M did last year. We didn't lose to 2 lower tier B12 teams either. Is that worth a trophy or printing cups? Nope, we need to do a lot more to win something that matters but it is still better than OU.

Oh and KSU is a terrible football team now. They are underdogs AT HOME AGAINST NEVADA. So please stop saying they are anything but a big pile of suck. They have had some decent seasons in the past but they are simply not someone a good team should lose to anymore at this point. I also will freely admit if Kevin Sumlin was still our coach we could lose to them but he is long gone.

I know you guys wish that the 2000 era of Aggie football was the entirety of Aggie football history and we were still the mediocre program of the Fran/Sherman years. We just aren't. Even last week with every possible thing going wrong and losing our starting QB on the road we pulled out the W. Jimbo is now 27-1 at A&M in games where we are favored.

So the 2013 Cotton Bowl was a major bowl game for aggy? It gets hard to keep follow aggy lore, as one of your esteemed aggy posters recently indicated the Cotton Bowl ranked behind such big time bowls as the Holiday and Alamo, which were two of the biggest bowl wins in aggy history. Congrats on those big time wins resulting in fabulous 15th final ranking.

Actually none of them were "biggest bowl wins" in A&M history because none of them came after A&M's 17 Conference Championships. They were all nice wins. It's just you guys keep talking as though you own us and we could never beat you and yet we destroyed you the last time we played. It was a nice W but just a consolation game and definitely not as big of a W over the eventual NC Bama in Tuscaloosa.

It's so pointless to even debate with Sooners. Going to be fun watching you become a middle of the pack SEC team as you discover you can't play 7 on 7 and win here.
