Not a good example. The sec fricked OUs schedule this year. That being said, Oklahoma is the only team in the country that grades out top 10 in all 3 categories in espn FPI. OU has played Smu who’s a top 25 team by years end, still only allowed 11 pts. Other than 2019 lsu OU has stacked up well with every sec team they have faced. UGA who’s schedule was also fricked hasn’t played a team as good as smu.

According to Arkansas fans, football started in 2000.

Ask an Aggie, and he’ll tell you 1975.

I guess the Sooner line is WW2.

UF should have played Texas that year. Stoops simply boat raced everyone after Texas smoked him.

The problem was that everyone meant a bunch of nobodies. He was leaving starters in 4 quarters to get those extra scores

So much truth to this. I'm no Bama sunshine pumper. We have tons of issues. But this program has won a ton of games and titles in seasons with a loss and some downright ugly wins.

No matter how many times you and others repeat this it won’t make it come true.

If SEC is so hard then imagine adding OU and tx on top of current schedule. It works both ways but some have not figured it out.

Do you even know how many losing seasons OU has had in its entire history. Its in single digits.

How many losing seasons has LSU had since WW2? 19

How many losing seasons has tx had since WW2? 12

How many losing seasons has OU had since WW2? 6

For having 83k posts I expected better content.

Yeah none of that matters I’m sure Nebraska didn’t have many losing seasons playing a Big 8 schedule all those years.

Lincoln bailed on y’all for a reason, though jokes on him with 2,000 plus road trips every other week incoming.

but you will have to find out the hard way.

It is interesting how the typical SEC fan thinks this is just automatically going to happen.

Nebraska was doing just fine in the Big 10 during the Pelini era. They never finished lower than third in their division and actually won the division in their second year. So basically they were doing about what they were doing in the last decade in the Big XII. Then they fired Pelini and went south in a hurry.

Certainly OU COULD go the way of Nebraska...

But Nebraska showed everybody what NOT to do.

If Pelini era Nebraska is what you’re expecting then that’s reasonable enough.

You're using the AP poll to determine team strength. Conference sucked but congrats on a few teams having good records end of year by playing that shitty schedule.
