Mississippi State AD Scott Stricklin is going with Parker Executive Search to help identify candidates. This is a very similar situation with the search to replace Bruce Weber at Illinois – PES helped hire Strickland, as they did with Illinois AD Mike Thomas (LINK PES will be charging their standard $90,000 fee for the search. Some early names that have come up are:
Kermit Davis – Head Coach Middle Tennessee State.
Larry Eustachy – Head Coach Southern Mississippi.
Sean Woods – Head Coach Mississippi Valley State
Johnny Jones – Head Coach North Texas
Tom Herrion –Head Coach Marshall.

Ok now you are just looking at a bracket and picking the head coach from mid-major teams that are still alive or went farther than planned. I'm on to your shenanigans Bundy and this will not stand.
Have you mentioned Creighton's coach yet? He's probably the next one to be in the mix.
Mark Few is happy at Gonzaga so don't even bother putting him in the mix.

I've heard Phil Jackson hasn't completely ruled out a return to coaching.
