Well I know this last time was legit. He left his hometown and took an assistant job with a cut in pay.
He left to coach at a 6A public school. I doubt he took a pay cut.

Nope. Ocean Springs HS.

He's the OC at Ocean Springs high school.
He coached at BA for a total of 3 years and produced 2 state championships. He gets hella respect from the Brookhaven Nation down there.

"Several things contributed to my decision," said Davis. "I am going to a collegiate-style football program. That will equal more time for me and my family.
"The Ocean Springs school district is one of the best in the state," Davis added. "I get a chance to basically coach with my brother. It's good when you can coach with folks you trust and you love."
Davis directed the BA Cougars to a perfect 15-0 record in winning the AA state title. His team finished 12-2 in 2010 and lost in the AA semifinals to River Oaks, the eventual state champion. His 3-year record is 35-6.
"I will always love BA," said Davis. "We have a special bond with the players. The people have been really nice to me."
Davis informed his team of his decision Thursday afternoon. He said a special search committee was being formed to find a new head coach for the Cougars.
"I did what was best in my family," Davis continued. "It was a tough decision."
ETA: How the frick would a collegiate-style program give you more time with your family as opposed to AA academy?

Bundy you have no idea wtf you are talking about he's an assistant at Ocean Springs. Unless they pay him more than 75k, he took a pay cut.

Don't all coaches say that shite though? "I gotta do what is best for me and my family." This is a great opportunity for me and my family etc etc.
