Jerry Jones as owner and Nick Saban as coach/GM?? One could only hope that TO was still wearing the star if that happened. Hopefully the new roof in Dallas's new stadium has the same hole, because Nicky's head might explode and it would look like the Arc being opened, everyone would need to turn their heads.

Saban aint leaving the college ranks again. He makes as much in salary and other side gigs in college and can deal with his program as he pleases. Penn State maybe, but certainly not the stinking Raiders.

My sources in the political realm say that Saban is going to be the coach of obama's socialist agenda next year.

Actually I take it back. If LSU gets Andre Dubose, Deangelo Benton, and Randle on campus next year, I could see Saban wanting out of Tuscyland.

Why would this have any affect on Bama or Saban?

It was a joke.

I was inferring he would give up because his defense could not stop our WRs if we got them.

ha ha.

He will be bending Auburn over starting this year again, so I think the Bama fan base will be happy with him for a while.
You know he will be top ten in recruiting every year, so LSU doing great probably ain't gonna matter all that much for next year.

I was about to say...

LSU has had NFL caliber receivers for a while now.

If he wins an NC this year, and a big job becomes available, he will have no regrets in leaving Bama. I ain't saying it will happen, but given his track record and lack of loyalty in the past, Bamans are delusional if they don't think it will probably happen again some day. Enjoy the ride while he is there. KC.

Alabama won't win an NC this year, so I guess he'll stick around for a few more years.

My sources from the SEC RANT say Saban is going to the coach at POP WARNER next year. You know he did make the statement that he likes to help mold and develop young people.

He probably won't. The point is you shouldn't COUNT on him being there for a long time. KC.

Saban would own the cowboys if Jones was stupid enough to hire him. Then he would own Dallas, then Texas, etc. The new saying in Texas would be "Remember the Saban!"

My sources in Pike, PN say Saban is going to be the coach of Penn St. next year when Joe Pa retires. My sources called me first hand and explained to me that its already a done deal. And while at Penn st., my sources in New York are telling me Syracuse will steal him after 3 seasons at Penn. St, my sources say Saban will retire in New York.

NFL has short term memory, plenty of coaches have quit and then been hired for right amount of money.
So if Saban continues to win, some GM may give him a chance as long as he plays the song and dance of how he learned and changed from days in Miami.
