Why would I waste my time getting that degree?

If you'd bothered to read my post correctly, you'd see that I never said I was a Psychologist, but merely that my degree was in Psychology.

Well, no. But nearly 40% of psychology majors are self employed and don't make over 50k a year. Sounds awesome. Definately something I would want to waste 4 years of my life studying

Again, your knowledge is astounding.

Get a job in corporate america for a few years and you will be looking for every opportunity to become self-employed.

I see this in your future:

quote:

Over 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees (over 8,000 of them have doctoral or professional degrees), along with over 80,000 bartenders, and over 18,000 parking lot attendants. All told, some 17,000,000 Americans with college degrees are doing jobs that the BLS says require less than the skill levels associated with a bachelor’s degree.

You should spend some time looking into the present state of the legal market.

Trust me that won't be me. I'll be taking over the family firm with my brother after he's done at Alabama right now.
