I know John professionally. That story never came up though. Until this thread. My wife is a lender with First Security Bank. And I had her ask him about it today.

He looked like absolute dog shite in 2018 and would have been lucky to be holding a clipboard in the NFL if that had been his final year.

Not really.

He wasn't great but was a serviceable game manager. Definitely not "absolute dog shite."

You got shut out @ home by Alabama 29-0.

Yeah, he was fricking awesome.

It isn't a single game season.

Also, no one said he was "fricking awesome", but he wasn't "absolute dog shite" either.

0-29 @ Home.

18/35 completion
184 Yards
1 INT

Compared to:

46-41 @ Alabama
31/39 completion
393 Yards
3 TD

57.8 completion % for the year, while throwing for less than 3000 yards.

16 TDs the entire year on 5 INT.

In 2019 - 76.3% completion, over 5500 yards and 60 TDs on the year with only 6 INT.

I suppose you can debate my language on how bad he was, but that's not very good and it's certainly not a good argument that he's proof a QB can enter in with no practice in a system and have success.

Without the 2019 season he's not even a backup in the NFL.

Maybe not in a situation where the quarterback is asked to carry the entire load.

It's good enough if you just need a game manager though.

10-3 is decent "success".

Wtf, no he didn’t. IIRC he did pretty well.
Damn you tards will say anything truth be damned.

You've got to excuse the Crimson Trailerpark types. Wondering which of his uncles to call on Father's Day doesn't leave much time for objective sports analysis. Meth's a helluva drug
