Such a wasted talent

Talent wise....you could make the case he had the same physical gifts as RG3. DIdnt have the accuracy or smarts of RG3 though.

Reggie was hyped JUST as much as Vince Young coming out of HS. Like Vince, he may have never been a great pro. But he should have been a great college player imo.

No. How could we be?

Just saying since the thread is hyping him as the next Manziel. Worry about him being as good as Allen or better first imo..

for all we know (with Kyle having a year in the system ahead of him....assumed Kyler goes there as well) he could wind up sitting 4 years like DJ Shockley.

The Allen game this past Saturday. 54k+ at a state championship game. Last week I went to the Desoto vs Allen game, it was a much better game. There had to be over 20k there for that game.

The closest person to being the next Johnny Manziel is Dak Prescott, and he also has the chance to be much better than Johnny Manziel.

We saw how good against Oklahoma in 2002.

Sadly, he's one of FOUR quarterbacks ruined by Dennis Franchione.

Another funny thing is Tannehill wouldn't even be on that list if Jerrod doesn't have his shoulder surgery. And how high up would Jerrod be if he didn't?

He doesn't look as good against High School teams as JFF does against College teams.

Weaker arm too.

I was pretty impressed with JFF's arm strength against LSU.

Maybe but for a 16 yr old high school junior he has a pretty strong arm.

Thats one of those things either you have or you don't.

There are 16 year olds who can sling it.

Will it get stronger year, but not to JFF's level.

I wasn't disagreing just pointing out he throws well for his age is all.

JFF has a stronger arm than he gets credit for that's for sure.

Can Kyler match it possibly only because he still has some growing to do but only time will tell.

I can guarantee his accuracy and technique is definitely further along than what JFF was as a junior in HS. This kid accuracy is money.

If this kid was 6'3" I'd bet he'd be listed as the top QB in the country. He needs to hit another growth spurt.

I'm curious what is the deal with Jalen Guyton? #9 He has no offers and doesn't even have a page if I'm looking correctly. In following Allen, this kid has been all over the field. I just like the way he plays. Why isn't he getting ANY interest or am I just looking over it?
