Those were standard issue in the SWC back then. You just went by the dealership in your uniform and picked out your favorite color. The dealership sent the bill to the Booster Club.

Ahh, the good ole days.....

So filthy.

He's so far ahead of high school JFF mechanically it's not even funny.

He's going to be absolutely dominant.

Those kids who get pushed that hard peak in HS. They're almost always disappointing in college. Good luck, though. I'd like to see another JFF talent at TAMU.

I wouldn't say he is the lock that A&M fans think he is for the reason of this topic

Not saying he won't wind up at A&M but it isn't as sure a thing as A&M fans want to think

I watched Kyler Murray play on Saturday. I was thoroughly impressed. And he's only a Junior as I recall. I kept thinking to myself, this kid is a better Johnny Manziel than Johnny Manziel himself. If he is an A&M lock, I don't look forward to playing the Aggies after next year.

He's 16. Think Todd Marinovich but without the drugs.

This. But we have a better shot than most other programs because he's a legacy.

I won't go so far as calling him an Aggie lock, but I will say he's ours to lose.

I haven't seen any indication to think he's not a lock other than people not wanting to be presumptuous. I'll be absolutely shocked to see him go somewhere else.

His dad posted last night that A&M's roster will play no role in his decision. If that's true then if logic carries the day he'll be an Aggie. His game is too similar to JFF's and Sumlin proved he knows exactly how to make such a talent thrive.

Exactly. People want to think since he hasn't committed yet he's not a lock. But then these same people tell you Texas Tech is a legitimate contender for his services. So I laugh.

He wants to make a name for himself and not be considered "The Next Johnny Football"

Again, not anything the staff can't overcome but it isn't that cut and dry to call him a lock

If Kyler likes A&M, which by all indications he loves it just as much as his father, what could any program offer that A&M couldn't? Other than maybe immediate playing time, there's nothing.
