top of that, that 1999 game was vacated, so to find the last Georgia Tech home win over Georgia that actually still counts, you have to go back to 1989.
'89!!
Almost 30 years lmao

The 1999 was a blatant mistake by the refs in the era right before replay. I can’t stand it when major ref mistakes late in a game impact the winner.

Nobody enjoys that, but you can't just discount a loss because of it. It's part of the game.

but you can if the other team played ineligible players which vacated the game, which is what actually happened...

Bama fricking won like 10 or 15 in a row at Tiger Stadium.
Dont give a frick if people come in and say "not a rival', its a rivalry to me goddammit.

That IS a crazy stat...hell. LSU won 3 or 4 in Birmingham during that streak.

But the refs were in fact suspended.

yeah LSU won 6 of 13 road games at Alabama between 1971-1998 but couldn't win at home. From 1981-1989, the home team in the series was winless.

LSU won at alabama in 1982, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1993, and 1997 during that Alabama win streak in Tiger Stadium. We also won at Alabama in 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2007.

Run with no time outs is risky. Cost us the 2001 auburn game.
