All of you star gazers who only think 4 and 5 star players on teams can win, just look at the rosters of Boise State and TCU.
Also, looking at Mississippi State's starting offense in the Gator Bowl, there was only 1 four star recruit Derek Sherrod. Our starting lineup actually included 4 two star recruits and it seemed that Coach Mullen was able to do pretty good with them.

A.J. Green was kinda rail thin also, if i'm not mistaken
Many recievers are/were. Randy Moss also comes to mind. Tall athletes like WR tend to be fairly lean. Sorry 601Dawg...

I think Ole Miss has better depth than State
apparently you need to look at a depth chart
State returns 16 starters in 2011 yet:
Wont have a Senior WR
only 1 Sr on the DL
No Seniors at LB
Only 1 Sr starter in the Secondary
Will have 3 SR's on the OL with lots of starts
Thats how young we were in 2010- We had 14 Sophomores start or play alot of snaps, and will have 20 redshirts plus the others returning to back all these guys up next year

good with them.
good not great. If you want to be great and win consistently in the SEC you have to have talent.

They both play in shitty conferences. Use a different argument.

Robert Johnson was a 4star recruit and a member of the Dandy Dozen, yet you claim he was the 3rd best player on Oak Grove's team??? Are you serious. We have some very good redshirts. Im sure Martin and Bennett will be good. As for WRs Sanders was good in HS but I hear he is still rail thin. Our top WR prospect Michael Carr chose not to redshirt and ended up coming on strong and even caught a TD in the Gator Bowl. He will be a good weapon in our offense next fall.
All I asked was for you to list your players that are so young that are better than ours. For instance you mentioned Johnson and Eulls....
We grabbed the top WR in the state, obviously better than Johnson, and three out of the top 4 DL in the state to combat Eulls. I don't understand the obsession with Carr though. He caught one TD in the bowl game and he's got Snead fever. But to compare your freshman WR that played I'll pair him with Ja-mes Logan who obviously had a muck better year. We have an underclassmen at just about every position that has out performed your underclassmen. I think y'all are netter in '11, but '12-'14 in our time

Then look at their schedule.
Also, since you're such a non-believer in stars, tell me the average class ranking that the past BCS champions have had over the last 10 years..
They don't win NC with a bunch of 2 or 3 stars, not that you can't find a diamond in the rough every now and then...

Of course, and you just proved my point but you are too stupid to realize it

You don't have a QB first of all
Neither Johnson nor Sanders have played so how can either team know how good they are going to be
Perkins was a freshman RB and shredded yall and ended up with a good year

Which are starters, not depth. Alabama had only 11 returning starters in 2010, but no on had more depth.

You have caught me, your unbelievable Ole Miss education is far superior to my poor old State education, thus rendering me unable to decipher your witty jests

You have to quit using this as a selling point for a kid. We had the worst SEC defense in 10 years. Everyone shredded us.

And you lost 5 starters off of that Defense and also your two backup DTs, and yet you think your defensive problems are going to magically fixed next year with Freshmen and JUCO transfers.
