I don't think anyone is really mad. Arkansas hasn't won anything important in forever.

Bama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee can all talk about their recent championships... Arkansas can pretty much just talk.

not really talking just stating facts. Talking would be saying that we WILL win the West this year. We are as deep as LSU and Bama this season plus our QB will have options that Mallet did not have. I do not know how Media can always pick LSU. I know they have all those great athletes but the West is a toss up. It would be better to say that than try and say Bama and LSU will be one and two. Anything can happen and preseason polls means nothing.

Which part of this is a fact?

"but the Hawgs will be in the mix -- like it or not you better learn to love it cause it is the best thing going today.

Hawg football will be in the SEC West title picture this year."

Sounds like mostly opinion.

At this point Vegas gives Notre Dame a better shot at a national championship so one of you is off.

In my opinion Arkansas will get 3rd in the west. I think playing on the road against Bama and LSU hurts. I think playing USCe is another tough game. I don't see Arkansas winning both the LSU and Bama games. I think 2-1 would be a huge success but I expect 1-2 in those 3 games.

I think Arkansas is as talented as anyone, however I really don't like how their schedule sets up. If they had Bama's schedule, then I would have them favored to win the west. I tend to think Bama will go 2-1 versus LSU/Arky/FLA. Florida is an unknown at this point though. I tend to think LSU will go 2-1 versus Bama/Arky/FLA as well since 2 of those games are at home.

I think the three teams are very equal but the schedule makes a huge difference sometimes. I'm not going to spend posts bragging about how we're going to contend though. That is pretty Bush League.

I'm so glad we got rid of Nuttz. Otherwise, our team would be be in the cellar just like the Old Myth Webel Black Bears.

No way bro. I'm all aboard the flagship. You can't be halfway on the ship. That doesn't make any sense.

It would worry me more if they had Tub's or Cuttcliffe or even Oregeon!

They have their worst coach in "fifty"...."fifty years"....

not really, Arkansas historically always gets up for LSU and it kind of spoils the plan if we split the Bama and LSU games which I think we will. I could see us coming out flat against a motivated Ole Miss team. We will be fully ready and prepared for both games with Alabama and LSU they will be tough.

Surely, you realize CBP will be prepared for the Black Bear Star Wars characters?

I think he will toss a few deep at the end to put his foot on HoustonDale's neck and try to crush it......

I can hope.

Ark will be very good. And even if they weren't they always play LSU tough.
