Clemsons #2 took snaps last year in games

They have an inexperienced backup who tore his Achilles a few months ago. Very precarious situation.

Only 22 throws.

But yes Bama for the 1st time in a long time doesn’t have an experienced #2 QB.

Wrong…….
0 throws in 2017
13 throws in 2019
0 throws in 2020
0 throws in 2021

And no this isn’t modern football because of the transfer portal

It all started with the unprecedented fields transfer, so you wrong. Again.

UGA has to find Transfers and freshman to fill their 2 deep.

Most teams choose to do the same, especially when guys transfer home, sometimes to play for their dads shitty football team. Even bama does it. This is the modern era of football.

It all started with a cheap shot on Rohan Davey in the SEC tittle game and his mom who’s Jamaican put a voodoo curse on them

I'd like to think beating them 30-13 in the rain in 02 did too. They were #4 and we were coming off a blowout loss at home to Miami. There was a torrential rain in the 2nd quarter and Vols fumbled 7 times.

Don’t forget that last second uga win in 2001. The fortunes of uga/LSU somewhat flipped with the vols that year.

Winning %……

1990-2001:

6. Vols
26. Uga
55. LSU

2002-2020:

6. LSU
7. Uga
50. Vols

And the funny thing is that they did all this to themselves.

Georgia doesn’t have to find anything. Their recruiting is top notch. The portal provides additional talent to protect against injury and highly ranked players who don’t feel they’re getting enough playing time with all the 5 stars they have to compete with and decide they can start at a less competitive program

It’s pretty funny to have any UT fan criticizing UGA. If UT ever managed to scrap together enough money to entice a player of Daniels stature to Hillbilly State, they would declare a holiday and hold a tractor parade. UT is a dumpster fire - or maybe I should say a trash can inferno.
It sure has been nice pounding the Vols into the turf for now on 20 years. And the future promises more of the same. So insult, belittle all you want. We know what we’ve got and we definitely know what UTs got. If UT gets any worse they are going to start asking for money to play us just like the UABs. They will expect to be compensated for the hurt Georgia is gonna lay on them.

Daniels wouldn’t fit the system. He has an average arm and no mobility. He’s Jake Fromm allowed to pass more.

Did you think that in 2021, the 2001 season would be the final time UT had a really good team? Kind of crazy to think about.

And they couldnt even beat Year 1 Mark Richt or early Nick Saban.

Did another thing go over your head?

1. The QB position is different than others.
2. The circumstances are also different when an injury is involved.

So, the answer is no, you didnt expect the vols to suck arse after that choke job in 2001.

At the very least, until that almost universally required lucky play happens to win UGA another title in my lifetime, I can take solace in knowing UGA doesnt suck arse like the vols have for so long.

It was pure unadulterated luck and the reason you won a NC.Dont be so angry bro...lots of teams had luck when they won their NC's.

Herschel makes a run and it was the greatest play in Dawg history.

Billy Ratliff makes a great defensive play and causes a fumble then recovers it, and it is pure luck?

You're literally an idiot.

UGA is a perennial also ran. 41 years. STFU, you're not elite.

He cant help it. Irrational UGA takes are kind of his thing.

Notice how his UGA backup QB take exploded in his face?

A walk on and 2 freshman. It’s exactly what I said it was. And it’s and indicator the the UGA staff can’t manage a roster. Because it’s not just limited to the QB situation. It’s the same song and dance year after year. A very good collection of individuals but no program building, not roster management, no forward progress. What’s the point of winning 10+ games a year (including post season) if it never culminates in a national championship?

UGA is about to enter anther year of college football full of offseason hype expecting to lose an opener at a neutral site against a rebuilding Clemson. Their national championship aspersions (the fans damn sure don’t have any) are pretty much over before the season starts. Kirby is well established, has mostly his recruits in place off a 5 year run of top 5 recruiting classes but doesn’t have an Oline, the WRs are decimated (top 5 battling injuries), with a 3rd string TE, no idea won is going to be the 2 deep in the secondary, a meh QB that they can’t afford to get injured and UGAs are perfectly ok with it. It’s basically a team of RBs and a defensive front 7.

And UGA fans are too stupid to see it doesn’t have to be this way. UGAs AD could theoretically afford to hire guys to work with Kirby to build a dominant program. But nope it’s recruiters that can’t coach and hope to get lucky and maybe back into a playoff stop.

Beta, the last word is yours. I’m done with this thread.
