How does the Au flame threads on the front page parlay into your earlier arguments that your fans don't do it and your own fans call out your own when they do? Cuz all I've seen is encouragement in them.

So you are not going to answer the question.

Eta, is it a flame thread if he is just posting what's out there.

Even in your wildest homeristic Bama dreams you can not be serious in believing that Trent Richardson was a better RB than Bo Jackson?

It's not like Trent was in a run only offense and had 2 other backs softening up the defense so he could get his yardage late in the game. He had practically identical numbers, except more TD's. As have many, many other backs.

Dude.....

I hate Alabama with all my soul, but even I can concede that there have been some great players to go there. You just compared Trent Richardson to fricking Bo Jackson. IMO, you should be banned from watching football this season.

He had a glass body. Couldn't take hits very well. If not for being untouched because of his Oline, he would have been exposed more.

He was a very good back, no doubt. But he was a better athlete. Nobody was a better all around athlete, imo. But there's been quite a few RB's, better than him in the strict sense of the position. Alot of Au fans will argue it, but they can't make an argument based on production and facts. Just on what they've been told, as most never saw him play, and those that did, remember him for more than he actually did.

Ingram had more yards and TD's on less touches too.

To the OP:

You must have never seen him play.

Bear Bryant's biggest mistake in life was pissing off Bo Jackson while recruiting him.

Brian Bosworth was a pretty boy pussy. He wasn't that great of a player. He is considered an NFL bust by many.

This is the correct statement.....

Only RB close was Hershel Walker...1 and 1A

Trent was a great RB, I'll give you that but there is no way that Bo Jackson would not have run for more yards and scored more TD's in the same offense that Richardson did. Plain and simple Bo > Trent.

I would take Carnell Williams over Bo Jackson.
