u are always intent to disprove the existence of a possibility of a Creator of everything. Yet believing in something like the big bang is no different. There is absolutely no way to believe that is possible without having faith in something that someone made up.

Maybe.
The only reason that God is more acceptable than Big Bang by most people is because it helps them sleep at night.

What evidence then, is there that the universe once existed as a subatomic particle?

Guys, for us to debate why God is or isn't is real... it's just silly by now.

Oh I know dude. This is a straight pissing contest. Sometimes I get bored enough to enter into a pissing contest. Well I could get drunk enough to do it too, but it's Sunday and I'd feel like an alcoholic if I was tanked right now.

can anyone fill me in on WHO HERE seems to be in on a rational debate where they contribute AND listen?

I'm more than willing to listen, but really I'm just debating for shits and giggles. Hence my side-stepping your "God is outside of time argument." I can't make traction against that.

You are right. 4th or 5th is probably more like it.

I was talking to the traditional powers in case you got confused.

That's not a very good argument.

I'm not arguing Big Bang. I don't call a side one way or the other. I just tried to explain the bastard to you. I don't know enough to say.

since the dawn of man. men have had some odd feeling deep down that a higher power existed. some praised the sun. some sing and dance in rituals. some believe in mother earth. some praise Jesus as the Messiah. some believe in multiple gods... but unlike animals, human beings have always felt the need to drop on their knees and thank the stars for the good in their life. i think it's quite more than to "sleep well at night."

You were arguing scientific evidence to the beginnings of the universe vs creationism earlier. When the website you posted and you yourself now state that you don't know, how is that scientific evidence? That's just intellectual dishonesty and hocus pocus science.

Wha? It's a book written 2000 years ago (well that's the NT I realize, but you follow). It's written through the prism of the writers of that time. I do think there is a lot of good stuff packed in there, but I'm not willing to take that interpretation as gospel. I understand if you do.

Uh, never said that. I said anecdotes are used as evidence for God.
