4 teams get a bye and do not have to play in the first round. 1 independent with a weak arse schedule. 1 ACC with an even weaker schedule. 2 B1G teams with weak arse schedules
The SEC is killing itself and the rest of the country is laughing at us. This is why the SEC is not going to do well in any playoff format that only counts the number in the loss column for seeding. Expand to 24 and it gets worse. We will never get a top seed, never get a home game. Exponentially harder to win a NC now.
