We were fortunate not to lose twice in 2015. The refs bailed us out against FAU in OT and we had to tackle each other to secure the ECU game.
I guess you could say that WE were fortunate not to lose to UTSA in 2016, although that would have gotten Sumlin fired quicker even though I'm not sure who the coach would have ended up being.
We were unfortunate not to lose to Nicholls last season. That would have gotten Sumlin fired MUCH quicker.

How about the last time each school played UAB.
2000: UAB 13, at LSU 10
2009: Texas A&M 56, UAB 17

This is the kind of shite you have to reach for to make A&M look good

(Southern Miss - I had to correct this one as South Florida was considered a BCS school in 2007)
Hmm? BCS =/= Power 5. Non-Power 5 schools can still be BCS (Bowl Championship Series), though I'm guessing you mean FBS? The BCS had only one function -- post-season. FBS, Football Bowl Subdivision, refers to the 130 or so programs that are considered 'major' and can be in bowls. This is as opposed to FCS, Football Championship Subdivision, i.e. the teams that use a playoff to the exclusion of playing in bowls.
So South Florida is FBS, BCS-eligible, and non-Power 5. Exactly the same as Southern Miss

No, South Florida, a BIG EAST SCHOOL in 2007, was NOT FCS or anywhere close to it.
The Big East in 2007 was actually a decent football conference with 4 schools having at least 9 wins (West Virginia, Cincinnati, Connecticut, South Florida) and another with 8 wins (Rutgers with Ray Rice). Compare that to the PAC 10, who only had 4 teams finish the regular season above .500.

Yes, I accidentally said FCS. Too many acronyms. I corrected it. The point remains, SF is at the same level in all categories as Southern Miss. There's no difference between them in either subdivision, bowl eligibility, or being outside the P5 conferences.
