The last starting QB to beat Coach Saban in back to back seasons...

1998-99 (per Brett McMurphy). Drew threw for over 500 yards, 5 TDs and ran for another score in the '99 Sparty game. Hopefully it's the last time too.

Rex Grossman in 00/01

Also Lee/Jefferson may have alternated starts in 2010/2011 but they both played in both games

This is correct, Jefferson started 2010, Lee started 2011 and was terrible. Jefferson came in and did just enough to propel LSU to victory.
