frick that. If Coach Saban called me tonight to help him cover up a scandal with him banging half the cheerleading squad, I'd be in T-Town with a shovel, some white lime, and a pack of scratch and sniff stickers within the hour.

I think that was established a looong time ago. Coach Bryant was smart enough to be discreet. I can respect that. Dubose style shite e.g. sticking the pen in the company inkwell, is dddddduuuuuummmmmmbbbb.

Dont let basic HR principals get lost in this. He hired someone he was banging for a nice job without following proper procedures for interviewing and evaluating the candidates. If another applicant was more qualified and got shut out because they were not smoking the coaches pole they also would have a case to make some noise.

Auburn fans don't understand the nuances of acceptable coach behavior.
It's not like people were calling out Tubby and his wife for their swinging when he was winning. That just happened when he started losing.

That is a very good point. Even more ammo for the "there is no way they keep him" side. I am sure there were other people interested

Coach Bryant liked strong drink and the company of women who weren't Mrs. Mary...but he wasn't dumb about it. He had a driver/bodyguard and people knew to keep their mouths shut..and that was in a different time. Facebook and shite like that have made it a whole new world.

All I am saying is that Arkansas does not have to fire him. And financially, any lawsuit from this girl will be a drop in the bucket compared to the amount a successful program brings in. They can make this go away if they want. The question is do they want to? If the board, president and enough faculty members start putting on their academic hats and decide the perception risk is too high, he is gone.
Right now I would lean toward him being fired for the mere reason that any time an Arkansas employee is fired for misconduct from here out they would be able to point to Petrino keeping his job. It will be too much of an issue with the thousands of faculty members at a university of that size.
I have never been a Petrino basher, but when you combine the note to the Falcons players along with this, I think you are dealing with a truly, truly, low character man.
