If Alabama loses to Missouri, it's all chaos.

Florida State and Ohio State will be there by virtue of winning pathetic conferences and no legitimate ooc games.

TCU or Baylor? Conference champ with victory over other contender, or conference champ with pathetic resume?

Pac 12 champ legit. Everyone else suspect. Possibility of no team from clearly the best conference.

Disaster.

Okay, so then don't choke like you did against Ole Miss and it'll be fine.

If Alabama is capable of losing to Ole Miss, they are definitely capable of losing to Mizzou.

It IS a shitty system. And it will be, until all conference champs are in, and all conferences are more balanced.

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken shite.

Well, FSU has a thread of wanting to go back to the BCS.

Ole Miss at home was better than us at that point in the season. That's college football.

If Bama loses to Mizzou..

1) Oregon
2) TCU
3) Florida St
4) Ohio St

Problem solved? No chaos necessary. In general, undefeated teams should be above defeated teams. Teams defeated once should be above teams defeated twice.

The system will be a bad one until it upgrades to 8 teams.

you guys keep penciling them in....they have to beat Wisconsin, and I don't think that happens, especially with a new qb.

Oregon - legit.
TCU - lost to another B12 team with same record.
FSU - pathetic schedule
tOSU - pathetic schedule. Won a conference without a SINGLE significant ooc victory.

The thread was made with the premise that Ohio St wins their conference

FSU scheduled OkSt, ND, and Florida OOC. That's as good of an OOC schedule as you will find anywhere in the nation.

then why have a committee? I mean, you can't be serious that a 1 loss team in the Big 10 is better than a 2 loss team in the SEC...just because they only lost 1 game and the SEC team lost 2.

Well, they were certainly more than capable.

If Alabama loses to Mizzou, we have no case for deserving a spot in the playoff. The 4 team playoff was not created to give any decent team a shot at winning it all. It was to make sure any team that truly deserved to play in a national title game got that opportunity (Auburn in 2004).
