Yes, but somehow UGA can only produce footage of running thru the sprinklers.

Nope. In fact the video clearly shows Georgia fans tearing at the field. And I will say again, that they got what they deserved. They were warned several times to not go onto the field. I have absolutely no sympathy for them.

But the water hoses being turned on to fans in the stands were just as bad if not worse. Sod can be replaced. Injuries from people being knocked down in the stands is harder to overcome.

Just saying. Alabama has a history of turning firehouses on people.

My question is this. Why did the Auburn cucks just watch from the stands?

I honestly thought that too.

The Auburn fans should have taken some Dawgs to dinner.

And you didn’t get the history until I pointed it out to you. We all know you had no idea what I was saying.

Turning hoses on people only happens In Alabama

It wasn't right, but it was unfortunately a staple of the times and culture across the South. Thankfully, it has long since course corrected to a much better state.

Except in Georgia where no one gets water... especially the voting public.

Assuming that happened.

Do you have any evidence of said injuries or the water being turned into the stands and directed at people?

That's all I'm saying.

And even if everything you said happened actually did happen, it's been 35 years. Do we need a commission and a grand apology from Auburn? What exactly are y'all looking for here?

It hasn't happened again. We all know UGA and Auburn hate each other. So really the only reason to bring it up at all is to fan those flames because nothing productive is going to come of it.

Good question!

Missy State fans, I’m sure, would have vigorously shaken their cow-bells in their general direction.

this is a dumb narrative but in this particular context, that was brilliantly played on your part

I think the flames just got fanned here like a LSU fan kicking over a BBQ grill near Jordan-Hare

Funny, the guy who designed the system described them as state of the art water canons.

Right. Bringing up an actual incident and providing video is a troll.

Holy hell you are so full of yourself.

You might want to revisit the first page of this thread:

The way UGA fans talk about this I always pictured something on par with the hoses used in the 60s in Birmingham.

Dude, I appreciate you in this thread.

But aren’t you a member of a fanbase that continues to rankle from some cigar smoking in 1999?

No rankling. We got a lot of mileage out of the Cigar Curse while it lasted.

At least we made Bo Nix bust out his inner Manziel and made y'all wait until late in the 4th to finally break the curse. With LSU's O-Line, might be lucky to score 19 again this year.

Yes, that’s what you design when you want to water a field (including the sidelines) 140 (or more) yards long and 60-70 yards wide, you ignorant frick.

And you know what? When that sprinkler rotates it might go into stands the which means IT’S TIME FOR IGNORANT REDNECKS TO LEAVE!

BYE! HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR STAY IN AUBURN, shite-STAINS.

Now, that War Eagle Reader (love their stuff) article does give some credence to the story that the water was pointed into the stands at some point:

quote:

Conner: They were grabbing at the turf. They wanted a piece of the grass. Only a few of them got out there, but some of them got real wet in the stands, some who weren’t leaving. They didn’t like that. It took a while to get them out of there. Some of them in the stands shook the rails loose on one end. They (the cannons) turn 360 degrees. You could turn them all the way around, you know. We didn’t have full pressure on them ‘cause there wasn’t enough pressure to run all of them.

Somewhat amusing his name was Conner.

The comments on that article are hilarious. Some great stories that may or may not be true and of course it devolves into UGA and Auburn fans calling each other liars.
