Bianco might pull this--once in Starkville on a Sunday the visiting team (non-SEC) coaches and players kept going to the mound to delay State from winning a game. State had men on base but the visitors had to leave by a certain time to make their flight home so it was called a tie.

State beat #2 twice and #4 twice. In the CWS. Beat #4 Vandy 13-2 and 9-0. State was clearly the hottest team and earned the championship. Unlike a more recent NC who played a #14 seed once and no other seeded teams in the CWS.

Tremendous venue for baseball. Downtown location, easy parking, plenty of bars restaurants and its growing, great hotels, and all within walking distance. Really hard to find anything wrong with it. A roof open game in May/June at Minute Maid is amazing.
Will be more amazing when all of the east and west coast bitches get their titties twisted when the Astros are in the WS again this year.
