Just here to point out that the last time the SEC East finished with two teams in the Top 5 of the final AP poll it was in 2013 when Mizzou was the East champ. USCe was ranked #4 and Mizzou was ranked #5.
Now that Mizzou sucks, tEast has zero Top 5 teams.
Conclusion: 808 is a wise poster. The East Is Better When Mizzou is Peforming Well

If everything else is the same then yes the conference is better when Missouri is good. But it's better when the actually good programs are good.

I hope the Mizzou fans in this thread realize it's just trash talk..in my case anyway.
I honestly have no problems at all with Mizzou. Solid fans and y'all really helped us out when the floods were happening here in SC. We won't ever forget that. It was great to be supported by our SEC brethren. The support, food, supplies, money etc kept a lot of ppl afloat bc they lost everything they owned. Seriously, thanks for that. Don't think I ever told y'all that and I meant to.

UGA is down as down gets. USC who won 40 games the past 4 years is awful. Missouri the back to back division champs are really really bad. UK has remained steady, and is a little better. Vandy is back to their norm. Tennessee is forever young.

Dumb post. Missouri is really bad on offense. The defense is really good. Mizzou is 4-4, which makes them an average team overall at this point.

4-4 is average if the rest of the east weren't so bad.

On behalf of all my fellow Gator fans ...I want to apologize for probably winning the SEC east division and for beating a highly ranked at the time Ole Miss team and taking LSU into the 4th qt. We picked on our east mates UK, Mizzou, UGA & of course UT so far.
Maybe we should just forfeit title and give it to some deserving west team? Nawwwwww.
