Ha, another ignorant aggie who thinks the A&M System endowment belongs entirely to the College Station campus.

A&M College Station endowment = $1.5 billion

Vanderbilt endowment = $4.1 billion

You guys talking shite about Vandy, but they're about to beat all of our asses in football next year and go on a 20-year run of undefeated seasons.

System wide A&M has just under a 13 B endowment. There are 11 schools within the system. The sip is trying to convince everyone that the flagship only gets 1.5 B.

Yeah that is just wrong, even Galveston has an endowment of 5.6 billion.

Boy oh boy, are you dumb. And have no idea how the PUF works.

Didn't click the link I provided, did you? (The one that clearly states that A&M College Station's endowment is $1.5 billion.)

LOL at aggy.

Yes, of course! Half the system endowment goes to the Galveston campus with 2,300 students.

What a maroon.

Wikipedia sucks, man. As a fellow Texan, I'm embarrassed.

I did a quick google search and went off the first thing I saw, didn't even click on a link.

Also just so you know going to a rivals message board and argue over endowments is fricking sad, but then again this is longhorn fan.

So you want to look at the endowment, but take away part of it because you don't like how it fits your argument. Okay.

Like I say, you don't know how the PUF works.

PUF interest is pooled in the Available University Fund (AUF) which is used to pay off construction bond debt.

Sometimes, schools like UT Dallas or UT Southwestern Medical School get as much as UT Austin, in that regard.

The difference is "excellence funding," from which UT Austin gets about twice as much as A&M College Station.

Now I know that A&M is starving out the other campuses (have you been to Commerce lately?) and hoarding the construction debt service funding. Which is why the A&M System is a fricking joke.

UT System PUF/AUF allocations FY 2015
A&M SYstem PUF/AUF allocations FY 2015

As you can see, in FY 2015...

UT Austin received $226 million from the PUF.

Texas A&M-College Station received $90 million from the PUF.

Pooooooooooor agggiees.

Who cares?

Why are you even here? Let us get back to paddling our own pledges for disrespecting Vandy, and you can go back and play in your own sandbox with Baylor and Oklahoma.

Everybody wins.

Vanderbilt is a good school. Athletic program is comparable though.
