bullshite.

It's one hour from Palm Beach to Hollywood...it isn't that far. That's were I am from...I know. We regularly drove from Miami to Palm Beach Gardens. It's no different than driving around Atlanta. Actually it's faster.

Why don't YOU go talk to the US Office of Management and Budget and tell them that Boca Raton is not part of the metro. I don't make the rules.

Bro, I don't give a shite where you live. I'm telling you it's not a stretch to say Boca is Miami metro. It's fricking 30 min away.

I just calculated the cost of living for both cities. Lane's $1 million in Boca Raton would be around $816K in Tuscaloosa. That's around a 40% decrease in salary from $1.4 million. Lane definitely wasted his time in Tuscaloosa since it did nothing for his career. He could have gotten this shitty FAU job without spending the last 3 years getting bullied on the sidelines.

Florida doesn't have income tax. Your calculations are shite.

You should give up. There is no way to successfully argue with an ignorant person who's unwilling to react to new facts and data that refute his/her ignorance. The poster appears to have no concept of MSA's and is refusing to accept facts that disprove his assertion while resorting to illogical hyperbole as proof.

TLDR version.....

38 minutes won't get you to fort Lauderdale some days much less to Boca. Someone hasn't made that drive but can google.

I promise you I have made the drive many many times, and yes it depends on the traffic. Point is it's not very far at all, and it's basically a homogeneous city from Jupiter to Miami.
