I was sitting at Globe Life Field earlier in the year amongst a large contingent of Michigan fans when Mac came in to pitch. I bet the Michigan fan next to me that they would hit not 1, but 2 homers that inning. First 2 batters hit dingers and I collected enough to pay off my tickets for the weekend.
Great memory for Mac, pitching in the CWS. Heartburn for fans as he gave up the only 3 runs in the CWS since our loss to LSU. 30 year old men shouldn't still be pitching college baseball, lol.
