I think "elite defense conference" has shifted from the SEC
Well SEC has made it harder on themselves by so many teams figuring out how to use their prized offensive recruits and talent to their fullest and developed passing attacks.
If you looked at the rankings, I'm sure more SEC teams are in the top 25 in offense than in recent memory.

Wisconsin is the only one with an elite defense.

This is such a false narrative. Michigan States offense could possibly be one of the worst this year. Iowa as well. Heck even Michigan’s offense is horrible. These are three of their so called big boys in conference.

The only thing Michigan has going for it is the hype from three years ago. Every year the media tries to crown them as the next big conqueror of Ohio St and they fail miserably. As far as Iowa and Michigan State, they can’t hang with big offenses but they don’t have the skill players from years past either. Nobody in the Big Ten realistically thought those two teams would make an impact this year. If they did, they don’t know college football.

That stat is cherry picked and means jack shite.
Tennessee also has 1 shutout and Alabama has 0. Hence UT is the better team and will win easily Saturday. That’s how this works right?

Let me Hijack your Thread. How many points would Bama/LSU put on Wisconsin?

I think it would look something like the Florida-LSU game IF (big IF) Wisconsin didn’t try to choke the game clock with long drawn out drives. They don’t have a dynamic passing attack but they don’t need one when they score 42 points per game. Their offensive line has a zone blocking scheme when the situation calls for it. Or a traditional blocking scheme which sets up open TE’s via the play action pass. I’m not saying they are world beaters but this isn’t the Wisky of three yards and a cloud of dust either.
